Buchanan House provides 24-hour nursing care for our residents. Our experienced and dedicated staff enable us to nurse those with physical disabilities, those who need end of life care, those with high dependency needs, and those who become infirm.
RESIDENTIAL CARE
We offer residential care within a safe and welcoming environment. Our aim is to ensure residents continue to enjoy maximum independence as well as peace of mind knowing that help is always available.
RESPITE CARE
Everyone needs a break from time to time, we understand that, especially when you’re caring for a loved one or relative – or perhaps you are just out of hospital yourself and need some assistance in everyday life for a short period of time.

DEMENTIA CARE
At Buchanan House, we provide care for people living with dementia, understanding that it is a stressful and frustrating time for them. Our team are fully trained to deal with all aspects of dementia and we take pride in providing the highest levels of care and respect for every individual.
Stability and a regular routine are important aspects of dementia care for both residents and their families. We monitor each resident continually and adjust care plans according to their needs. This attention to detail allows residents to be as comfortable as possible and live a longer, happier and healthier life.
